Prevention Packages

We recommend Central and Southern California employers consider the following packages designed to help ensure their policies and practices comply with state and federal employment laws:

Option 1: New Business Prevention Package designed for new and growing businesses that have not previously addressed compliance with California and Federal employment laws. This includes development of workplace policies and best practices, preparation of an employment handbook, audit of existing employees to ensure proper classification as exempt, nonexempt or independent contractor. Negotiated flat fee with reasonable monthly retainer to ensure policies remain in compliance and provide up to 2 hours of monthly telephone advice and counseling.

Option 2: Existing Business Prevention Package designed for existing businesses that already have policies in place and an existing handbook, but have not recently confirmed their policies and practices are in compliance with California and Federal employment laws. This includes review of existing workplace polices, revision of existing handbook (or preparation of new handbook), audit of existing employees to ensure proper classification. Negotiated flat fee with reasonable monthly retainer to ensure policies remain in compliance and provide up to 2 hours of monthly telephone advice and counseling.

Option 3: Handbook & Counseling Package includes revision of existing handbook (or preparation of new handbook) for negotiated flat fee with reasonable monthly retainer to ensure policies remain in compliance and provide up to 2 hours of monthly telephone advice and counseling.

Option 4: Handbook Package includes revision of existing handbook or preparation of new handbook for negotiated flat fee.

Option 5: Advice & Counseling Package includes up to 2 hours of monthly telephone advice and counseling for a reasonable monthly retainer.
